Along with the scale of our country coal industry development, the levelof security and informatization constantly improved, especially in the measure ofprotect the personnel security down the pit, more and more newinformation technology such as the wireless communication technology have beenused in this area. Therefore, how to make use of the wireless location technology,remote sensing technology, audio transmission technology and modern communicationtechnology, real-time find out the quantity of workers in the site works, the distributionand the dynamic change of the tunnel, and precise localization of space, visualcommunication, command and scheduling, have became a hot problem in the industryof mine safety production.In recent years, the state-owned large and medium-sized coal enterprises havealready completed the mine personnel positioning system and security monitoringsystem,the construction has made greater achievements, but the current coal minemonitoring systems and video surveillance system, that all sensors are mounted in afixed location, in the other areas (such as key areas and blind area sensor acquisition)needs to patrol inspection; The current general positioning technique is still a regionalpositioning technology such as RFID, the positioning accuracy depending on thepositioning base station distribution density, unable to achieve precise locating people;At present, many domestic research institutions focus on researching the undergroundprecise positioning method, but no more breakthroughs.The paper analyzes our country coal enterprises doing research on Digital Mining Projects and development status of Digital Mining Projects; puts forward a completeset of Digital Miners System (Digital Miner System, DMS) implementation plan, theenvironment monitoring, personnel positioning and communication being closelyaligned with system and down hole safety subject--people, implementation minersecurity, underground mobile communication, mobile video, mobile detection,personnel location in the integration and optimization; Study in wireless positioningand mobile video two key techniques in Digital Miners System, expound the digitalminers server software application architecture and focus on the systemcommunication protocol and the positioning part, mobile video and function interfaceThis system belongs to the south beam customization system of the ChinaNational Coal Group Corp. Recently, the system had been used in the industryproduction and the effect evaluated by the xi ’an software testing center. Now, thesystem that accessed the explosion-proof certification is in the standard of the safetyapplication process and has been completed the system of shape detection equipmentin the mine equipment testing center of Changzhou. After the system test they willaccess the standard of the safety.The system application not only fulfill the daily production scheduling of coalmining enterprises and improve the labor production efficiency of coal mineenterprises, but also reduce the cost of the mining. Moreover, thesystem accomplished the wireless positioning to the workers under the shaft and thereal-time monitoring environmental parameters. They will significantly improve thelevel of coal mine enterprise’s safety production management and emergency handlingability if they transfers the mining of coal mine safety management from traditional tothe miners themselves. All of the measures can be applied to theothers coal enterprises and non-coal enterprise which can achieve good economic andsocial benefits.
