| The permeability of sinter mixture is an important technological parameter of sintering, which directly determines the production yield and quality of sinter. However, research on permeability of on-line real-time detecting is almost blank at home and abroad, which is all about theory study and off-line detection. It is necessary to develop a set of online measuring apparatus to obtain the permeability of spot sintering. By simulating the technological conditions of spot sintering and using offline testing permeability index for reference standard, a new set of online measuring apparatus to test the permeability of sinter mixture was developed and assembled under certain experimental conditions. Then a series of determination experiments are carried out on the permeability index of sinter mixture and the experimental results are analyzed. A general conclusion could be reached that this set of online measuring apparatus equipped with complete instruments for both measurement and control, which is convenient in installment as well as in maintenance. What’s more, it can realize the intention of measuring permeability index online. Macro performance characteristics of the relationship between pressure and flow are the concave type curve in low-dropout and the straight line in high pressure difference. When the base height of mixture is200mm, the upper height is250mm and the front scope of flow is240mm, the curve tends to be stable. Curve conforms to the linear relationship and linear fitting slope K can be obtained in the flow range of70-110L/min. Meanwhile, the testing results are of high stability and accuracy. With the change of parameters such as mixture moisture, lime ratio, granulation time, linear fitting slope K can still accurately reflect the change of permeability. Conversion model of on-line detection on sintering mix permeability is JPU=0.17719*K0.20938-0.00958and the correlation coefficient R2is97.93%, which are of great accuracy. Hence, this measuring apparatus can realize online detection permeability of sinter mixture. It provides a direct basis for sintering mixing and granulation and controlling of burning through point, which make sintering production stable and improve the production yield and quality of sinter.
