| In the field of polyoxymethylene (POM) extrusion forming, the main processing way have Plunger and screw extrusion molding technology. Due to the poor plasticizing effect and local overheating during production, the process has some difficulties. Therefore, continuous extrusion technology was imported into the POM processing, intend to improve or resolve the problems existing in POM molding by using of the low preheating temperature of continuous extrusion technology. This article numerical analyzed the flow conditions in the molding process of POM melt, obtained the parameters of molding process and the regularity relations between device part of the structure parameters and extrusion results. The laws of extrusion flow were revealed by POM extrusion molding process numerical analysis, and the results could feedback for experimental research, it has important theoretical significance and practical value.The model was obtained through numerical simulation and experimental study, which was improved and simplified the design of CONFORM continuous extrusion machine. Using the finite element numerical analysis method and the ABAQUS software to mathematical model, the rules of extrusion process were in-depth and systematically analyzed which technological parameters of extrusion process influence on, such as the sliding speed of sliding block, the preheating temperature and the cavity length change of structural parameters. Through the analysis, it demonstrates that improving the preheating temperature, both the temperature field and stress field of materials forming process increase. At the same time the stability of the material flow velocity was decreased at the mould exit. It benefit for POM continuous extrusion molding to set preheating temperature as155℃or160℃. With the sliding speed increased, the overall temperature is increasing, but the stress field of stress value is reducing. Under different sliding velocity, the situation of stable situation of material velocity at the mould exit is mold exit speed fluctuation is low when slider sliding speed is lmm/s,1.5mm or2mm/s. It is good for POM continuous extrusion molding. When channel length is15mm, POM molding process temperature less than10mm and20mm, stress change rule too. At the same time the die exit velocity distribution uniformity is better when channel length is15mm.Basing on the systematically analysis to the rules of process parameters and structure parameters on the POM extrusion process influence, it used experimental model, and selected POM Delrin100p to physical experiments. It had quantitative analyzed all the designed parameters during numerical simulation, and collected experimental data, gathered products. The experiment products and relationship was analyzed between parameters and products quality, and contrasted with numerical simulation result. The effect rules were found of preheating temperature and sliding block sliding velocity on POM forming, which are same after experimental research. |
