Thermosetting plastics has remarkable advantages in heat resistance, thermal deformation, as well as the physical and electrical properties.Its main feature is lightweight, high strength, insulation, corrosion resistance.It also has a high utilization rate, stable product quality and easy to operate,etc. widely used in the field of automobile manufacturing, railway transportation, construction accessories, mechanical and electrical products and other fields, occupies an important position in the plastic products. As the plastic processing technology improvement,thermosetting plastics processing method has been changed from compression molding to injection molding.But the traditional thermosetting plastic injection mold gating system is common gating system.Once after molding, the gating system condensate material must be removed,process tedious,waste material of more than20%, when the injection is a multi-cavity mold, the weight of the casting system wastes or even greater than the weight of the workpiece, resulting in a great waste, the efficiency is also low.To solve this problem, in this paper, a cold runner design is used.Hot oil loop to control the temperature of the plastic gating system,it only has a certain fluidity, but not so high temperature to produce the curing reaction.Each mold simply remove the products, its a new kind of mold design which is without gating system condensate material.By electric motor end cover as an example, this paper mainly do research in the following:(1)The CAE technology is used in gate location of the product selection,the gate location for plastic parts for preliminary analysis.According to the results in the best gate location field, select different gate location for filling to optimize the best gate location.According to the theory of plastic flow balance of rheology in the process of filling, pouring system model is established. (2)Adopt the method of orthogonal experiment and the simulation analysis, optimize the injection molding process parameters.Data processing, using the fuzzy theory on the mathematics method, the multi-objective function mapping is transformed into single objective function,then quantitative comparison,to get the optimal process parameters, And experimental verification was carried out.(3)The temperature control circuit of cold runner system is designed,numerical simulation on temperature field in the Fluent software to determine the related parameters in the temperature control system.(4)Using UG MoldWizard three-dimensional design of the overall structure of the plastic mold.
