The security, stability and efficient operation of power system are the premise and guarantee of continuously and stable production in large petrochemical enterprises. At present, the large petrochemical enterprises general don’t have power scheduling centralized systems. Therefore, to design electric power scheduling centralized systems for large petrochemical enterprises is practical significance.In this paper, a large petrochemical enterprise as the research background, it compares of characteristics of the power system of petrochemical enterprises and local power systems. It analysis of the present power scheduling centralized systems architecture, network structure and software and hardware platforms, and designs a power scheduling centralized system that it’s suitable for large petrochemical enterprise. The system based on the embedded system architecture communication management machine as the hardware platform. In the regional center of control system and power dispatching system, it uses the software platform based on Windows and Unix architecture. The system network topology combines the star type structure and ring structure in the region between the control center and power scheduling. At the same time, the communication management machine redundant access method, the load of node equipment uniform load, the performance and security of network, the scheme of time synchronization and the algorithm of communication protocol to optimized design to improve real-time, reliability and safety. The result proves that the design of the systems can meet the requirements of power dispatching centralized systems in large petrochemical enterprise. At the same time, the paper point out the alarm information of regional center of control system and power dispatching system is promiscuity, when power system is in accident. The paper proposes to use the method of intelligent fault alarm and intelligent fault diagnosis in power systems.
