The purification of high concentration organic wastewater(HCOW) is one of the key research directions of wastewater treatment. The traditional treatment method of HCOW is diluted with plenty of water in first and then been in biochemical degradation, traditional method is not desirable from the perspective of economy and energy-saving and emission-reduction.This study adopts the technology of the UV with Nano-titania catalytic-flocculating to purify the HCOW directly, this method is able to give full play of synergistic effect among UV, Nano-titania and flocculant. Taking the HCOW in additives plant which contains benzoic acid as the experimental object, when making researches in laboratory and made by self industrial pilot plant (1m3wastewater volume). Through single factor experiment, the effects of light time, flocculant, wastewater initial pH value, H2O2dosage, the exposure amount of air, TiO2dosage on COD and turbidity removal rate were studied. Through the orthogonal experiments the order of effect of various factors on COD removal rate was found, TiO2dosage>wastewater initial pH value>H2O2dosage>the exposure amount of air. The order of effect of various factors on turbidity removal rate was found, wastewater initial pH value>TiO2dosage>the exposure amount of air>H2O2dosage. The optimum technological conditions were obtains by orthogonal test:light time8h, flocculant dosage2%(g/g), wastewater initial pH value8, H2O2dosage2.5%(ml/ml), the exposure amount of air in2L/min, TiO2dosage3%(ml/ml). The maximum COD and turbidity removal rate reached79.76%and96.35%in the optimum conditions.The research provides a theoretical basis for HCOW purification and governance.The technology has the advantages of simple process, high efficiency and low cost. At the same time also develops intensive integrated high concentration organic wastewater treatment equipment. This equipment is compact, convenient installation, flexible, low running costs, is popularized widely.
