| The technology of foundry design plays a vital role in casting quality,cost of productionand productivity.As a core technology in enterprise competition, foundry design is the key stepin the casting process.The technologies of CAD and numerical simulation are becoming moreand more mature,so introducing them into the casting process becomes a direction of foundrydesign’s development.With the help of these two technologies,the traditional manual mode basedon experience is gradually replaced by the mode based on CAD.And it has been a trend offoundry design’s development.Compared with the2D foundry design system,the3D foundrydesign system owns some advantagies such like visualized design result,intact geometricalinformation and perfect integration with foundry CAE.Because of these advantagies,3D foundrydesign system becomes market mainstream.With the technology of CAD or CAE,we improvedthe level of foundry design,the accuracy is increased and the efficiency of design isimproved.The research has some social value and economic benefits.Based on the abovebackground,this paper studies and develops the module of3D foundry design CAD system fordie plate design in the platform of SINOVATION.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Analyze the significance of developing foundry design CAD system for die platedesign.Combined with the foundry design’s demand of die plate design, on the basis ofSINOVATION,analyze the system’s feasibility and demand and design function anddatabase.According to the system’s function,the system is divided into module of drawing dieplate and module of static analysis and introduce each module’s function and the steps ofimplementation.2.Though the system researched in this paper is based on CAD,the system is different fromanother secondary development system.The research and implementation of the system is on thebasis of SINOVATION’s source code.With the help of Script language, MFC class library andC++programming language provided by SINOVATION,the system is developed in the MicrosoftVisual Studio2005.For the above reason,the system in this paper owns better compatibility andstability than another similar product and there is no any problems brought by system upgrade.3.Adopt the searching method of matching die plate based on improved k-nearest neighboralgorithm.Adopt hierarchical analysis method and introduce the current die plate’s searching process to match the die plate in the library.Firstly,expound the creation process of die plate withlayered structure based on characteristic parameters.It makes information structure fromsuperstratum can be represented by underlying information.Secondly,through the comparativematrix of die plate’s term, calculate the weight of attribute feature and structure the matrix ofsimilarity.Then,the similarity of die plate is calculated.If the degree of similarity is hign,thesimilar die plate’s parameters in the library will be used automatically.In this way,designers’operating procedures will be decreased and the design of die plate will be simple.4.Introduce the technology based on SINOVATION statics analysis to analyze the force inthe die plate.Then provide the simulation diagram to users for forecasting load distribution.Thedesigners analyze the simulation diagram to determine whether the designed die plate meetsdesign demand or not,so they can improve the next design. |
