On the other hand, emphasizing the importance of creationis not sticking to copy the foreign style heavily. In the past few years, our design copied thewest completely regardless of our national condition and aesthetic. Many young designersdisregard tradition and prefer quick success and some designers do not learn from nativeculture. If things go on like this, the spirit of their work will disappear. The work which istruly long-lasting and belong to the nation finally will be the fresh living things that growon the basis of inheriting native culture.The dissertation studies the ethnic color of Vietnam. To know what theperformance of using the traditional color of Vietnam in clothing is by analyzing andcomparing the papers about ethnic color basing on searching a lot of documents at homeand abroad in view of aspects of characteristics of Vietnamese tradition. Collect plenty ofimages about ethnic color and the experts choose and classify these images to determinethe samples. Find out the color and color combination which best represents theVietnamese tradition by factor analysis, cluster analysis and classified treatment.By studying, analyzing and locating the traditional color of Vietnam, this thesisintroduced a new way to study the national elements which is helpful for designers toexplore the traditional features and use it by an appropriate way in creative design. |
