| The terry mechanism is an important mechanism on towel loom, the working performanceof terry mechanism has a direct impact on the formation and quality of the towel. At present, thereliability of air-jet towel loom that produced by domestic manufacturers are very poor, there is ahuge gap compared with foreign advanced technology, thus the research of the terry mechanismapply to a jet towel loom appears important significance.Based on the structure analysis of a foreign air-jet towel loom, the mechanism is analyzedby the kinematics simulation, optimization design and dynamics simulation. The main work andresults can be summarized as follows:1) Refer to a foreign electronic terry mechanism on an air-jet towel loom, the componentof the terry mechanism is plotted in Pro/E, then the three-dimensional model of this mechanismis build, laying the foundation for further research of this mechanism.2) According to the compare of several movement rule of cam mechanism, the electronicterry mechanism’s law of motion is designed by the movement of five polynomial curves. Basedon the structural analysis of this terry mechanism, separating the key part mechanism thatdecides the law of motion from it, building the kinematics equation of the key part mechanism,and then take these kinematics equations to solve the motion of the servo motor. The resultsshow the servo motor’s angular acceleration curve can apply to practical application, but thiscurve has larger amplitude. On this basis, the influence of movement law caused by theimportant parameters is discussed.3) Analysis has been made between the parameters of the terry mechanism, the importantparameters that impact the progress of terry has been pointed out, and optimizable parametershave been found. An appropriate optimization objective function and constraints have beenestablished. Use genetic algorithm to optimize parameters, good optimization results wereobtained by MATLAB programming.4) Stress analyses was carried out on the electronic terry mechanism, and the dynamicequations of this mechanism was established, then import servo motor’s law of motion as drivingcurve and established the simulation model of the mechanism on ADAMS, carried on thekinematics simulation to verify the correctness of the MATLAB simulation, analyzed the stress state of pairs connected with rack.5) Explored the issue of shaking force equilibrium, qualitatively analyzed the influence toshaking force by changing the center of mass’s position of relevant parts. The results show thatthe existing mass center position is the best. |
