With the energy crisis approching, all the countries in the world are devoting into the researches of new energy.In recent years, many scholars have studied the biofuels. This paper is about molding preparation and applications of ultrasonic machining technology for biomass, and the main contents in this paper for biomass pelleting vibrator are as follows:1. Based on the one-dimensional vibration theory of variable cross section rods, transducer, horn and tool size were calculated,and summed up a set of complete design formula. In addition, provided a calculation method for circular arc transition during the design of ultrasonic horn and tool. And a simple and practical design method for special tool has been presented.2. Thinking of pretightening force the modal analysis has been carried out for the ultrasonic vibrator.The results were compared between the normal modal analysis and the modal analysis thinking of pretightening force.Using the modal superposition method for ultrasonic vibrator, harmonic response analysis was completed and the natural frequency response values has been achieved; Thinking of pretightening force,the modal analysis was to explore the effect of load on resonant frequency and the different clamping modes of the vibrator effected on the resonant frequency.3. Summed up a set of vibrator assembly process and technical requirements, and the effects of the tool’s length on resonant frequency has been concluded the vibrator assembly process.4. Effect of bolt tightening torque on the resonant frequency, vibration dynamic resistance and dynamic inductance has been studied during.5. Using the Doppler laser measuring instrument for testing the amplitude of two oscillators, the measured values were16.5um and15.8um, basically meeting the amplitude of ultrasonic machining required15~25um.6. Designed a set of experiments, the biomass without ultrasound and with ultrasonic pelleting are compared. The results shown that the pellets by pelleted with ultrasonic has a high density than that without ultrasonic.
