Aluminum is widely used in the aerospace automobile and other areas. The predictionand control of welding deformation of the structure has become a hot research. Learningregular pattern of welding deformation, and taking reasonable measures to control andeliminate the welding deformation contribute to improve quality of product. The research isof great significance.In this paper, the research for welding deformation of aluminum structure, Using finiteelement simulation and experimental methods to analyze and optimize deformation of thestructure. Reduce the deformation of aluminum structure including: optimization of weldingparameters of local joint and optimization analysis and experimental verification of weldingsequence of the overall aluminum structure.For the optimization of welding parameters of the local joint, chose double ellipsoidheat source by numerical analysis, determine the proper welding speed by optimizing, determine the key parameters such as groove dimensions; get the welding temperaturedistribution and residual stress distribution of T-joint; summarize deformation of verticaldistortion and angular distortion of T-joint, get the minimum amount of inherent deformation.Finite element analysis for the deformation of aluminum structure, apply inherentstrain method, convert inherent deformation of the welded joint to an equivalent load, applyequivalent load in the weld position in a certain order. Calculate the overall deformation ofaluminum structure quickly.For the optimization of different welding sequence, analyze residual deformation offree welding sequence, symmetric welding sequence and block welding sequence. Theresults show: block welding assembly sequence can greatly reduce the welding deformationof aluminum structure.For the overall deformation of different assembly methods were studied experimentally. Research for overall welding assembly method and block welding assembly method experimentally, measure the amount of deformation of the structure in the longitudinaldirection and height direction. Determine the deformation of block welding assemblymethod is the smallest.
