For the parts whose distribution of volume is uneven, complex internal structure and thecross-sectional area asymmetric, Using conventional extrusion casting or machining methods,there is often exist non-uniform flow of material, or not completely filled folding problems inthe production process,and affecting the performance of parts, and low utilization rate ofmaterials, long production cycle time, high production costs. In this paper, for a aluminumframe-type forming part which material is alloy5A06, use the finite element computersimulation methods, analyzes the problem of material folding and uneven stress on the moldcaused by uneven material flow in the processing,and propose reasonable solutions. Throughcomputer simulations to verify the effectiveness of the program. Research for a suitable hotextrusion process that can solve the problems of existing production processes in theproduction of5A06aluminum alloy frame parts.First, use the three-dimensional modeling tools UG establish a geometric model of themold, and then convert it to an analog process rigid-plastic finite element model, subsequentlyinvolved in the simulation process to analyze key issues, the establishment of the entire baseforming process simulation.Through the frame heat extrusion process of3-d numerical simulation, an analysis of theflow law of metal forming process, compare different forming scheme, to shape extrusion,dies shape and preforming blank optimization, in ensuring the parts at the same time make theprocessing pressure to achieve the best performance.In based on the analysis of simulation results, the preparation of5a06aluminum alloyhot extrusion forming technology of frame parts, analysis of different deformationtemperature, deformation velocity and friction condition on the forming process, the influenceof determine5a06aluminum alloy hot extrusion forming by variable diameter pipe form theblank,280x320mm extrusion temperature is460℃, the deformation speed of5mm/s, using oil-base graphite lubricant. Design the reasonable structure of the forming mold. Thereare certain references for the forming process of such frame parts.
