According to the properties of geometric shape of body frame part, the proper extruded part drawing and the technological scheme of preforming, backward extrusion forming, cold extrusion sizing, are developed through analyzing. The precision plastic forming theory of warm cold compound forming that formation of geometric shape is guaranteed by warm forming and accuracy by cold forming,and the forming methods of'guiding flow in axial direction','push extrusion forming','control the deformation gradually', are adopted based on the technological analysis, providing bases for the precision forming of body frame.Using numerical simulation method of finite element, the forming processes of preforming, backward extrusion forming, cold extrusion sizing, and the effect regularities of the die structures, processing parameters on forming processes, are analyzed. The different deformation temperatures, speedes and friction coefficients that affect the equivalent strain, stress and load-stroke curves, are discussed emphatically. According to the simulation results, the dimension of blank is optimized, and the optimum temperature of warm foming is determined which is 800℃~850℃, and the extrusion speed (5 mm/s~65 mm/s) has little effect on the forming of circle-arc surface and the forming force, but friction coefficient has great effect, so good lubricating measures need be adopted in processes, and the parameters of working land of concave die of push extrusion forming adopted'guiding flow in axial direction'are optimized.Based on the above research works, the working size of die is calculated, the process picture sheet of workpiece is developed, and the die is designed, then the experiment is done. The results indicate that the accuracy of non working surface of workpiece formed with new technology can meet the requirements of part, and the results of numerical simulation with experiment are consistent, and the technology and the die are proved to be feasible based on experiment of 250 billets. Compared new technology with old technology, the production efficiency is raised, the energy expense is reduced, the materials are saved, and the production costs are reduced.
