Modern medical researches and clinical practices show that the magnetic field hashealth-care effect on human body and can treat a variety of diseases. Magnetic fabric ismainly woven of magnetic fiber and can be made into magnetic health-care clothing. Itshealth-care efficacy is developed through the surface magnetic field. This article hasmainly done a systematic study on the surface magnetic field of multilayer magnetic fabric,realized the visualization of the magnetic field distribution, and tried the design practice ofmagnetic health-care clothing.In this article, lots of theoretical knowledge has been summarized such as thecharacterization and measurement of magnetic field, the mechanism and dosage of magnettherapy and the characteristics of permanent magnet material. The development process,types and main factors affecting the magnetic field of magnetic fabric has been studied.The test principle and method of the surface magnetic field has also been discussed.Research shows that the surface magnetic field can be described as the average value of100test points selected equally on the sample sized15cm×15cm.Based on the test and analyzation of single magnetic fabric surface magnetic field, thesurface magnetic field of multilayer magnetic fabric is detailedly studied and visuallyexpressed via three-dimensional figures made in MATLAB. Results show that the changesof multilayer magnetic fabric surface magnetic field accord with the superpositionprinciple of magnetic field. The magnetic field distribution of multilayer magnetic fabricpartly changed compared with which of single magnetic fabric but the inhomogeneity andregions still exist. The positive values and negative values usually appear alternately.Commonly, the inhomogeneity and regions will aggravate or retard along with the surfacemagnetic field of multilayer magnetic fabric strengthens or weakens.In this article, experiment method has also been used to test the main wearabilitiesand sewing performance of magnetic fabric. Then the influence of magnetic fiber content on magnetic fabric wearability was analyzed and discussed. Results show that as theproportion of magnetic fiber increases, the breaking strength, bursting strength and pillingresistance of magnetic fabric decrease while the moisture permeability variation. Themagnetism of magnetic fabric will be almost lost after washed15to20times. The sewingperformance of magnetic fabric is good.This article discussed the general design method of magnetic health-care clothing aswell which includes the method of magnetic fabric and the method of permanent magnet.On the basis of the above study, magnetic health-care clothing design practice has beendone for the specific target groups and then evaluated the design from the following threeaspects: the appearance, magnetic property and economic cost. This study can providereference and guidance for the design of magnetic health-care clothing which iscomfortable, beautiful and with good magnetic property.
