With the rapid development of society, the electricity consumptionof industrial and residential is increasing, a significant increase inthe power plant project become a necessity for the construction of modernsociety. But the construction of power plants brings a big impact for thesurrounding, such as the atmospheric environment, water environment,acoustic environment. It is not only affects the daily life of thesurrounding residents, but also causes a threat to the local environment.So, this paper study on the environmental impact assessment of thethermoelectric plant combined with the part of the environmental impactassessment "Guodian Jilin Long Hua Changchun Thermal Power Plant2×350MWcogeneration unit construction project preliminary design".This paper introduces the basic overview of Guodian Jilin LonghuaChangchun thermoelectric plant, including the size of the plant, unitequipment, drainage and other conditions. According to the basicconditions for the construction of the plant in Changchun thermoelectricplant in Longhua undertake an environmental impact assessment from theatmospheric environment, water environment and sound environmentalrespectively. The evaluation of the status quo is undertaken whichcombined with the main sources, pollutant emissions and emissionconcentrations of these three areas. Then the environmental impactprediction assessment is undertaken which based on the evaluation of thestatus of the plant production stages. According to the results ofprediction, the construction of the plant will not cause too much impactfor the surrounding environment.Today the environmental impact assessment of groundwater is takenseriously by more and more people, so this paper does in-depth researchon groundwater environmental impact assessment. The project is scheduled for the class Ⅰ three construction projects, so the analytical methodis used for the environmental impact prediction assessment of groundwater,and the suspended solids SS and chemical oxygen demand COD is generatedby construction waste which is predicted on the four different conditionsfor the environmental impact assessment of groundwater.It is necessaryto take effective measures against groundwater seepage within the scopeof the construction project.Pollution control measures are proposed for the atmosphericenvironment, water environment and acoustic environment of the power plantconstruction project according to the results of the environmental impactassessment, mainly from the total discharge of pollutants, control andcountermeasures and so on.
