| Polysulfone (PSF) is a kind of membrane material with good chemical stability and high mechanical strength, it is widely used in environmental engineering and biological medicine engineering field. But its poor hydrophilicity makes polysulfone membrane easily get fouled by pollutants (such as BSA) in separation process, and cause a short service life or the drop of efficiency. In this paper, PEG1000and amphiphilic block polymer (Pluronic F127) were blend with polysulfone to improve the hydrophilic of membrane without prejudicing to the original properties of polysulfone, and got polysulfone microfiltration membranes with improved hydrophilic.This paper made a systemic research on the preparation of hydrophilic modification polysulfone blend microfiltration membranes and their performance. The PEG1000/PSF and Pluronic F127/PSF microfiltration membranes were prepared by phase inversion process with precisely controlled preparation conditions (such as environment humidity, exposure time and coagulating bath). The effects and mechanism which produced by PEG1000/Pluronic F127and played in the control of membrane structure were studied through the data of SEM, contact angle, pure water flux, and porosity. At the same time, anti-fouling ability of the blend MF membranes was assessed by means of BSA adsorption, BSA filtration and EPS filtration experiments. The results showed that both PEG1000and Pluronic F127could increase the bore diameter of membrane and porosity in PSF/DMAC/water system, and the effect was enhanced with the additive amount, water in-take rate also obeyed this law also, but contact angle had opposite trend. Pluronic F127had better and stronger effect in structure control and hydrophilic enhancement than PEG1000with the same additive amount. The blend MF membranes had more efficient resistibility to BSA than EPS, and the Pluronic F127blend membranes had a better anti-fouling ability than the PEG1000blend membranes from the whole seems. The best membrane preparation plan in PSF/DMAC/water system is PSF180mg, Pluronic F127124mg, DMAC1mL, temperature25℃, air humidity85%, exposure time25s, the coagulant is70%DMAC solution (wt%). |
