As the development of the manufacturing industry about aerospace and naval construction and automobile and national defense industry, there have higher requirements for nc machine tool machining precision. So in guarantee machining efficiency, the problem of how to quickly and efficiently improve the machining precision become the one of the key issues to be solved. However, the way of by the traditional control method as improving the accuracy control the precision of parts of machine tool manufacturing and assembling and processing environment to improve the machining precision is more and more difficult to achieve. And by the precision machine tool geometric error compensation technology can effectively improve the machining accuracy of machine tools. So, relevant experts and scholars at home and abroad for geometric error identification and modeling in order to improve the machining precision have a great deal of research, and has made remarkable achievements. Research shows that:about80%of the total error of precision machine tools is from the force error and geometric error and thermal error.To improve multi-axis machine tools machining precision, this paper studied the technology of geometric error compensation based on the multi-axis CNC machine tool, by studies the geometric accuracy of multi-axis NC machine tools, and analyses the error sources affect the machining accuracy, Puts forward the procedure and method of error compensation, derives software error compensation algorithm and research the software design. Specific research situation is as follows:Analyzed the multi-axis NC machine tools machining system main error sources, it is concluded that the geometric error is one of the main error sources of the multi-axis machining error. Make the multi-axis machine tool components abstracted into body, analyzed in the case of having errors the characteristics transformation matrix that between two adjacent body’s. Put forward the multi-axis CNC machine tool geometric error compensation system mathematical model that based multi-body system theory.Described the multi-axis CNC machine X Y Z axis of21items of geometric errors, and by9line error identification method to identificate geometric error parameters. Based on the mechanism of error identification about axial error and radial error and rotation error Verification the error of two rotors, and get geometric error parameters of the multi-axis machine tool.Based on the mathematical model of multi-axis machine tool geometric error, study multi-axis machine tool geometric error compensation system that based on the software, through Labview development the platform for compensate the geometric error, and get the revised NC instructions.By comparing the uncompensated NC code and the compensated NC code and the error compensation experiments, the results show that the geometric accuracy of multi-axis machine tool has improved significantly, verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the software error compensation method...
