The lesions of lungs in slaughter pigs are often observed on the quarantine lines inslaughterhouses, especially the pleuropneumonia cases caused by Actinobacilluspleuropneumonia. Pleuropneumonia can not only cause lung lesions, but also can inducepleural inflammation. The statistical analysis of lung lesions at the slaughterhouse is a usefulway to estimate the importance of respiratory disease at farm, regional or national level. Thisstudy is to investigate the roughly proportion of the lesions of lungs and pathogen infectionsin sensory pigs in guanzhong area of Shaanxi province in China. Histopathological changes oflungs were observed after HE dyeing. Pathogens were isolated and identified inpleuropneumonia-infected lungs tissues, we focused on the Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniaeserotype identification and virulence-associated genes. We support a retrospective data for thefarms to control respiratory disease of pigs, and put forward for the rational use of drugs. wecan provide epidemiological data for pleuropneumonia immune control of pigs in guanzhongarea.1. The data derived two large-scale pig slaughterhouses, including25pig herds totaling4,987lungs. Lung samples which had obvious lesions is3215, The rate of lesion-lungs is64.5%. For each herd,100lung samples were collected to estimate pleuropneumonia usingslaughterhouse pleuritis evaluation system (SPES). The result indicated that there weredifferent degrees of pleuritis cases, accounted for57.4%of total number in statistics. Thesefindings show that pleuritis had been common in these farms.2.420pleuropneumonia-lesions of lungs, were using the method of the bacteriologyconventional bacteriology separation techniques, biochemical tests and PCR tests. In thepresent study,39Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia strains,11Haemophilus parasuis strains,17Pasteurella multocida strains, and25Streptococcus suis strains were identified in theinfected lungs.Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae accounted for42.4%(39/92) of the totalpathogenic strains. In the pathogenic process, Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia plays animportant role. Experimental results show that the four pathogens exist no particular causalrelationship, there was no single infectious cause of pleuropneumonia was founded. A varietyof infectious agents combinedwith environmental factors should be considered as a cause of pleuropneumonia.3. GDT test and PCR were used to determine39Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniaeserotype and Apx toxins type, respectively. The results of GDT test indicated that there were3serotypes among the39field strains which belong to serotype1(13/39), serotype5(6/39) andserotype7(20/39), mainly carried APXⅠ, APXⅡand APXⅣtoxin genes.
