[Objective]:To study the relationship between the expression of BRCA1protein in Sporadic breast cancer and clinicopathological parameters, and to investigate the expression of BRCA1protein in various molecular subtypes of breast cancer[Methods]:The clinical and pathological data of218patients with sporadic breast cancer in Fujian Provincial Hospital from January2010to December2011were analyzed retrospectively. The expression levels of BRCA1, Ki-67, ER, C-erbB-2, P53were detected in218cases of sporadic breast cancer with Elivison two-step immunohistochemical technique, and combined with the related clinical data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS.[Results]:The expression of BRCA1protein in218patients with sporadic breast cancer tissues were not significant difference from age, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. The expression of BRCA1protein in sporadic breast cancer tissues was positively correlated with ER, HER-2(the correlation coefficient were r1=0.151p=0.026and r2=0.137p=0.043, respectively), while there has no significant correlation with the expression of P53, Ki-67(the correlation coefficient were r=0.108p=0.112, r=-0.078p=0.253, respectively). The expression of BRCA1protein in molecular subtypes of breast cancer:The highest expression of BRCA1protein is luminal subtype in molecular subtypes of breast cancer, which is about90.90%, while the loss expression rate of BRCA1protein is9.10%. In HER-2over-expression breast cancer, the expression rate of BRCA1protein is81.82%,while the loss expression rate is18.18%. In triple negative breast cancer, the expression rate of BRCA1protein is65.00%,while the loss expression rate is35.00%. There are differences between the various molecular subtypes (χ2=11.441p<0.05).[Conclusions]:1、The expression of BRCA1protein plays an important role in the occurrence and progression of sporadic breast carcinoma.2、The expression of BRCA1protein in sporadic breast cancer tissues was positively correlated with ER, HER-2, and related to the molecular biological behavior of different breast cancer subtypes.3、The loss expression of BRCA1protein provides a new target for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer patients.
