Study For Relationship Between The Polymorphism Of Peroxisome Proliferators-activated Receptor2(PPARγ2) And Essential Hypertension (EH) In Hui And Han Nationality Of Ningxia Province, China | | Posted on:2014-11-21 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X F Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2254330392473181 | Subject:Internal Medicine | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective To investigate the association between the polymorphism ofperoxisome proliferators-activated receptor2gene Pro12Ala and EH in Hui andHan nationality in Ningxia Province, China and its related risk factors analysis. Methods Randomly selected599peoples in Ningxia Region. Polymerasechain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP)methods were used to detect the Pro12Ala polymorphism of PPARγ2gene in Huinationality including146patients with Essential Hypertension and112normalcontrolsï¼›in Han nationality including163patients with Essential Hypertensionand178normal controls. The frequencies of genotype distribution in Hui and Hannationality of EH in Ningxia were studied. Results (1) Hui nationality:The distribution genotype frequencies of PP,PA and AA were85.62%ã€13.70%ã€0.68%in EH groups and those in normalgroups were90.18%ã€9.82%ã€0, which showed no significant difference(P>0.05);The allelic frequencies of P and A were92.47%ã€7.53%respectively in EH groupand95.09%ã€4.91%in normal group. The allele frequencies of P/A were nosignificant differences to above data in two groups (P>0.05).(2) Han nationality:The distribution genotype frequencies of PP, PA and AA were84.05%ã€15.34%ã€0.61%in EH groups, and those in normal groups were88.76%ã€11.24%ã€0, whichshowed no significant difference (P>0.05); the allelic frequencies of P and Awere91.72%ã€8.28%respectively in EH group and94.38%ã€5.62%in normal group. The allele frequencies of P/A were no significant differences to above datain two groups (P>0.05).(3) Binary step wise logistic regression analysis1)Hui〠Han nationality: Binary step wise logistic regression analysis showed thatHan nationality〠body mass index (BMI), glueose(GLU)〠uric acid(UA)ã€triacylglycerol (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) wereindependent risk factors for essential hypertension, high density lipoproteincholesterol was protective factors。2) Hui nationality: Binary step wise logisticregression analysis showed that body mass index (BMI), ureanitrogen (BUN)ã€glueose(GLU)〠triacylglycerol (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) were independent risk factors for essential hypertension, high densitylipoprotein cholesterol was protective factors。3) Han nationality: Binary stepwise logistic regression analysis showed that ageã€body mass index (BMI), glueose(GLU)ã€uric acid(UA)ã€creatinine(Cr)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) were independent risk factors for essential hypertension, high densitylipoprotein cholesterol was protective factors。Conclusions It may not be association between the Pro12Alapolymorphism of PPARγ2gene and EH in Hui and Han nationality of Ningxia. There also does not exist racial difference between Hui and Han people with PPARγ2gene Pro12Ala polymorphism. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | essential hypertension, PPAR γ, gene polymorphism, Hannationality, Hui nationality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
