Use the electrochemical luminescence method to determine serum FSH,LH,E2,P andT level.VPA group and NS group rats lost ovarian periodicity and first displayed significant change(P <0.01).VPA group displayed significant weight gain increase (P <0.01). The level of LH was increased inthe VPA and NS groups compared with control group(P<0.05).The level of FSH was decreased in the VPAgroup compared with the control and LTG groups(P<0.05).the level of T was increased in the VPA groupcompared with LTG and control groups(P<0.05).the level of P was decreased in the VPA group comparedwith controlã€LTG and NS groups(P<0.05).The ovarian in VPA group and NS group exhibited polycysticchanges.The results of HE staining showed that compared with control group,VPA group and NS groupfemale rats had enlarged ovaries with numerous growing follicles, especially many preantral follicles, andthe total number of folliles and atretic follicles increased (P<0.05).Ultrastructure of growing follicles ofVPA group rats exhibited increase of apoptotic granulose cells,theca cell hyperplasia and more secretorygranules can be found in theca cells.Valproic acid sodium easy cause sex hormone secretion disorder compared withlamotrigine.Epilepsy state affect the rat mature follicle formation and ovulation function and result inpolycystic ovary.VPA intervention can aggravate epileptic rats polycystic ovary change and growingfollicles showed more apoptosis and increase of the secretion in the theca cell hyperplasia. | Keywords/Search Tags: | valproate sodium, lamotrigine, epileptic modle, estrus cycle, sex hormone, polycysticovary | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
