| [Background] Blood glucose fluctuation is an important risk factor of chronic complications of type2diabetes. Many researchers had studied how to control the blood glucose fluctuation by diet, exercises and medication, but few researches focus on the effect factors of psychosocial stressors on blood glucose fluctuation in patients with type2diabetes mellitus.[Objective] To investigate the effects factors of psychosocial stress on blood glucose fluctuations in type2Diabetes mellitus[Methods]130type2diabetes mellitus patients were selected,72with blood glucose fluctuation and58without blood glucose fluctuation. Relevant clinical data: blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, glycosylated hemoglobin A1c, insulin resistance index, liver function, and renal function were collected. All patients were investigated by the scales related to psychosocial stressor.[Results] There were no significant differences in age, course of disease, blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, glycosylated hemoglobin, and insulin resistance index between these2groups(all P>0.05). The unconditional logistic regression analysis shows that bad status of psychological health (OR=2.821) and the amount of stimulation of negative life events (OR=4.712) were risk factors of blood glucose fluctuation in the patients with type2diabetes mellitus while objective social support (OR=0.187) and utilization of social support (OR=0.539) were protective factors. [Conclusion] Psychosocial stressors have a significant effect on blood glucose fluctuation in the patients with type2diabetes mellitus. |
