| Objective: To investigate the relationship between the progesterone and theandrogen receptor in meningiomas with edema and its malignant degreeMethods: Select this academy2009-2011by pathological diagnosis afteroperation for meningioma in80cases. According to the WHO classification (WHO):(a)62cases of benign, atypical (level two) in10cases, malignant (level three) in8cases. According to the preoperative MRI showed meningioma accompanied by edemain58cases, no edema in22cases. In our hospital pathology department, specimens inparaffin sections were observed under light microscope and put forward the benign, malignant tumor cell classification. By immunohistochemical ABC method, todetermine PR and AR expression in tumor tissues. Specimens for routine productionthickness of4μ m slice, high-pressure antigen repairing method after repair, then serumblocking nonspecific antigen. And the application of immunohistochemical technique(EnvisionSystem two steps) for detection of AR, PR in80cases of meningioma tissueexpression. The nucleus contains brown granules for AR, PR tumor cells are positive.Under the X40high magnification, selected from10different perspectives, randomcounted300tumor cells, calculated the positive expression rate. The number of positivecells <10%for the"-",10%-29%"+",30%-49%"++",>50%"+++". Application ofSPSS13.0statistical software for data X2test analysis. P <0.05was thought that thereare significant differences. Results: Patients with meningiomas of progesterone receptor (PR) and androgenreceptor (AR) are expressed. The PR are related with the tumor peripheral edema andAR associated with meningioma malignant degree. AR and PR had no correlation. |
