Objective: Odontoclasts are the main effector cells in physiological rootresorption of deciduous. Fibroblasts, also known as dental pulp cells, are the main pulpcells, which have the synthesis of collagen, the degradation of extracellular matrixfunction.VEGF can promote osteoclast differentiation and proliferation. Its biologicalfunction played by the identification of FLT-1(fms-like tyrosine kinase)andFLK-1/KDR(kinase insert domain containing-receptor). Experiment one is study onphysiological root resorption of deciduous teeth and the normal permanent teeth ofVEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1expression in odontoclasts and pulp fibroblasts, understanding ofVEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1is involved in root resorption of deciduous teeth or not.Experiment two is study on during different periods of root resorption of deciduous, theexpression of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1in odontoclasts. and VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1amongroot resorption of deciduous the variation of the different periods, the role andrelevance.Methods:1.The physiological root absorbed deciduous teeth and healthpermanent teeth after take off calcium, paraffin embedded, sectioned, usingimmunohistochemical method detection VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1expression, using imageanalysis system to measure the optical density of odontoclasts and pulp fibroblasts indeciduous teeth and health permanent teeth, SPSS13.0software statistical analysissoftware, using analysis of variance to study the expression differences of primary andpermanent teeth VEGF, FLT-1and FLK.2. According to the length of root resorption, Deciduous teeth is divided into early, middle and late period, using immunohistochemical method to detect the expression ofVEGF, FLT-1and FLK-1on odontoclasts, measure the three group of optical density by using the image analysis system, SPSS13.0statistical analysis software, usinganalysis of variance, correlation analysis to study early, middle and late stage expressionof regulation and three different.Results:1. Deciduous root resorption odontoclasts of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1expression was positive, and permanent teeth were not observed to odontoclasts(P<0.01).Deciduous root absorption group pulp fibroblasts of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1expression was higher than the permanent dentition group (P <0.05).2.Deciduous root resorption early odontoclasts of VEGF expression was positive,FLT-1, FLK-1expression was weakly positive; medium of VEGF was strongly positive,FLT-1, FLK-1expression was positive; late of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1expression waspositive; early was different to medium and late(P<0.01),medium and late compareddifferences(P<0.05).3.VEGF, FLT-1and FLK-1are related (P <0.01), FLT-1negative correlationwith FLK-1(P <0.05).Conclusion:1. Primary teeth absorb odontoclasts of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1immunohistochemical strong staining, suggesting that of VEGF, FLT-1, of FLK-1isinvolved in the absorption process of primary teeth.2. Primary teeth absorb pulp fibroblasts of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1immunohistochemical strong staining, suggesting that pulp fibroblast is involved in theabsorption process of primary teeth.3. Odontoclasts of VEGF, FLT-1, FLK-1immunohistochemical staining indifferent periods of deciduous absorption, the medium-term the most powerful, earlysecond, late weakest. Suggest that deciduous root absorption of the medium-termodontoclasts most active, most powerful, the late second, early weakest.4. The regulation of VEGF in the different expression of the deciduous rootresorption area by FLT-1and FLK-1, on the early and late periods of deciduous rootresorption VEGF combined with FLT-1play a role, on the medium period of deciduousroot resorption VEGF combined with FLK-1play a role, FLT-1and FLK-1mutualinhibition.
