Object:To explore the value of CT pulmonary functional imaging for assessment of lung function in patients with multiple traumaMethod:The study collected61multiple trauma patients within48hours after the trauma admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January2011to December2012. AIS-ISS score:10-35points, multiple trauma patients (without pulmonary injury) of10patients in group A, multiple trauma patients (associated lung injury) of51patients in group B.aged from26to67years old(mean43±12.31years old) in group A, aged from24to70years old(mean44±14.33years old) in group B. Body mass index from20.2kg/m2to24.4kg/m2(mean22.92±1.55kg/m2) in group A, Body mass index from20.2kg/m2-25.4kg/m2(mean22.37±1.71kg/m2) in group B.the good balance of the variables between the two groups. All patients had complete CT lung function imaging tests, checking the CT imaging of lung function in lesions involving range (involving several lung segments) as "N value"and the change of the CT value in lesion as "M value, PFT and blood gas analysis and other checks on the day of admissionResult:l.To takebalanced test for enrolled patients with AIS-ISS score, Body mass index and age. Standardized difference respectively are0.0538,0.05and0.05, less than0.1, the good balance of the variables between the two groups.2. The data of CT pulmonary functional imaging and blood gas analysis were significant correlation (r=0.66, F=44.76, P<0.01), The data of CT pulmonary functional imaging and PFT were significant correlation (r=0.68,.F=49.88, P<0.01), The data of blood gas analysis and PFT were significant correlation (r=0.96F=316.94P<0.01)3. The difference between case classification results by "M×N" value of CT pulmonary functional imaging and (DLCO%) value of PFT, was not statistically significant (x2=6.53, P=0.16), The difference between case classification results by "M x N" value of CT pulmonary functional imaging and (Paty FiO2) values of blood gas analysis, was not statistically significant (x2=5.04, P=0.28),The difference between case classification results by (DLCO%) value of PFT and (Pa02/FiO2) values of blood gas analysis, was statistically significant (x2=83.98, P<0.05)Conclusion:1.CT lung function imaging can assess the lung function of the patients with multiple trauma2. The lung function of multiple trauma patients can be graded by CT lung function imaging...
