[Objective] Evaluation by the application eTRACKING (E-tracking, ET) of Hashimoto’s disease (chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, HT) patients with carotid artery elasticity changes, Hashimoto’s disease and then found that damage to the vascular mechanisms.[Method] S ubjects were divided into three groups, namely normal thyroid function in patients with HT group of27cases,29cases of thyroid dysfunction in patients with HT group, normal control group of25patients. Using ET technology to detect the left and the right of each patients’common carotid artery, draw blood vessel elasticity of quantitative data, the hardening parameter β (stiffness param eter), vascular pressure-strain elastic modulus Ep (pressure-strain elasticity modulus), and conform to sexual AC (arterial compliance), a single point of pulse wave velocity PWVβ (pulse wave velocity), augmentation index (AI), detailed record of the data obtained and image.[Results]By ET to detect carotid artery elasticity, between euthyroid patients with HT group and the normal control group, the difference of the bilateral carotid artery elasticity was not statistically significant, with the hypothyroidism HT group of patients, the difference of the bilateral carotid artery elasticity was statistically significant; the difference was statistically significant between thyroid dysfunction in patients with HT group and normal control group of bilateral carotid artery elasticity.[Conclusion]1. ET technology found when Hashimoto’s patients were in still normal thyroid function, the elasticity of blood vessels did not change significantly, when the course of the disease with thyroid dysfunction, the elasticity of blood vessels in patients with significant decline, the corresponding performance of atherosclerosis ET technology can effectively evaluate the status of Hashimoto’s disease at different stages of blood vessel elasticity. 2. Long-term lack of thyroid hormone can cause a significant decrease of the arterial blood vessel elasticity, Hashimoto’s disease associated with hypothyroidism patients suffering from increased risk of atherosclerosis mainly because of insufficiency of thyroid hormone synthesis and secretion, whether Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune reaction Related inconclusive.3. Hashimoto’s disease occurs in the female, the average age of onset mainly in the40years.The experimental results show that the autoimmune response in Hashimoto’s disease does not lead to a decline in arterial elasticity.IF HT autoimmune mechanism is indeed caused by impaired endothelial function and is accompanied by a mildly abnormal inflammatory response, then we have to suppose the existence of an early compensatory or repair mechanisms to maintain the normal physiological elasticity of the blood vessels, so that this experiment the results of the evaluation of the elasticity of blood vessels become normal.
