ObjectiveTo analyse the correlation between serum ADAMTS-1level and atherosclerosisplaque stability and coronary stenosis score, evaluating the value of ADAMTS-1testing in predicting the occurrence of coronary heart disease.MethodsSelected a total number of153subjects from the patients those who wereprenatal diagnosed as coronary heart disease in cardiology department of the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Nanhua University during March,2011to November,2011. Allsubjects enrolled in this study accepted coronary angiography, according to it’s result, they were separated into3groups of62subjects in control group,20patients in stableangina pectoris (SAP) group,71patients in acute myocardial infarction(ACS)groupwhich including41patients in unstable angina pectoris (UAP) group and30patientsin acute myocardial infarction (AMI) group.5ml fasting blood were drawm from allsubjects’ median cubital veins in the morning before coronary angiography andkeeping in-80℃to measure their ADAMTS-1level by using enzyme linkedimmunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit. Gather all subjects’ basic information such as age, gender, weight, height, medical history, routine blood test result and body examineresult et al.Results1. Patients with CHD had a higher level of ADAMTS-1in contrast to thosewithout CHD(P<0.01). Serum ADAMTS-1in subjects without CHD and withSAP、UAP、AMI were1.94±1.67ng/ml、3.08±2.28ng/ml、6.27±3.22ng/ml、9.20±1.87ng/ml. The difference between each group was significant(P<0.01)We also found a stepwise increase in ADAMTS-1level in patients with SAP、UAP、AMI.2. ADAMTS-1was found significantly correlated with smoking history, BMI,HDL-C,LDL-C,UA,FIB,ESR, pro-BNP, hs-CRP and WBC in all subjects bybivariate analysis(P<0.05). Serum hs-CRP level and Gensini score found to beassociated with serum ADAMTS-1level independently by stepwise regressionanalysis. The regression equation was: Y=2.619+0.202X1+0.202X2(X1represents the hs-CRP, X2represents the Gensini score).R Square was equal to0.453.3. Serum ADAMTS-1in patients with CHD was significantly correlated with theseverity of coronary artery lesions(measured by Gensini score system)(r=0.604,P<0.01).4. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the hs-CRP curve andADAMTS-1curve was88.3%(95%CI:82.8%,93.9%),88.5%(95%CI:82.8%,94.2%)in all subjects; This area under the TNTu, ADAMTS-1,hs-CRP curve was88.6%(95%CI:81.6%,95.5%),86.0%(95%CI:77.4%,94.5%),85.8%(95%CI:78.1%,93.5%),respectively among91patients with coronary heart disease.Conclusion1. Serum ADAMTS-1level has significant correlation with coronary stenosisscore, and may be produce an effect on atherosclerosis plaque stability.2. High serum ADAMTS-1level exist positive correlation with the risk ofcoronary heart disease, especially ACS event occurence.
