| Objective: To study the relationship between apolipoprotein E gene polymorphismand coronary heart disease among Xinjiang Uygur and Han Population. Methods: Weregard the Uygur and Han nationality as the research object, using the CPR methods andSNP classification technology to research apo E gene polymorphism and its relationshipwith coronary heart disease. Results:(1) The frequencies of ε2allele gene in the Hanpopulation were high than that of the Uygur population in Xinjiang (P<0.05). Thefrequencies of E3/4genotypes in the Uygur population were high than that of the Hanpopulation (P<0.05). The frequencies of E3/3genotypes in the Han CHD group were highthan that of the control group (P<0.05). The frequencies of E2/3genotypes in the Hanpopulation were high than that of the Uygur population (P<0.05).(2) The frequencies ofε4allele gene in the Han CHD group were high than that of the control group (P<0.05).(3)Uygur and Han ethnic population genotype the E4/X carriers compared with genotypesE2/X carriers of TC, LDL-C levels (P<0.05), HDL-C levels were significantly lower(P<0.01), more than the level of various lipid parameters showed no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:(1) These studies confirm that the apo E phenotype distribution inUygur population differed gnificantly from Han population in Xinjiang.(2) apo E genepolymorphism affects both the Uygur and Han population the individual lipid levels.(3)apo E polymorphism is associated with the susceptible of CHD. The increasingfrequencies of ε4allele gene may be a CHD harm factor in Xinjiang Han population. |
