Clinical Observation Of Internal Radiotherapy With Strontium-89and99Tc-MDP、zoledronic Acid In Treatment Of Pain Relief Of Lung Cancer Patients With Bone Metastasis

Objective:To evaluate the palliative effect on pain relief in patients with lung cancer bone metastasis treated with strontium-89together with99Tc-MDP,strontium-89together with zoledronic acid and strontium-89alone. Methods:ninty-five patients with bone metastasis of lung cancer were divided into experimental group A,experimental group B and control group randomly.33patients in the control group were treated with strontium-89only,30patients in the experimental group A were treated with89Sr combined with99Tc-MDP,32patients in the experimental group B were treated with89Sr combined with zoledronic acid. The improvement on patients’pain, quality of life, blood routine examination, the number of bone metastases was mainly observed before and after treatment. The χ2test was used in date analysis. Results:The overall palliative pain relief rate in the experimental treatment group A and B were81.25%、83.33%. For the groups using strontium-89only,the palliative rate was57.58%. There are statistically significant differences between the experimental treatment group A、B and the control group with single treatment modalities in the overall palliative pain relief rate (χ2=6.801), in terms of improvement in(1)whole body Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score (51.52%、80.00%、71.88%, χ2=6.246), and focal palliative rate (60.61%83.33%、84.38%, χ2=6.362),and not increase side-effect obviously,(χ2=1.885,P>0.05).Conclusion:Combined reatment with89Sr and MDP(99Tc-MDP) or89Sr and zoledronic acid is more effective than single treatment modalities to relieve bone pain secondary to bone metastasis can significantly improve the efficacy in the treatment of lung cancer with bone metastasis.
