Objective: To investigate the IL-27of the tuberculous pleurisy pleural effusion expression changes, IL-27and adenosine deaminase (ADA) content whether there is a correlation. And reveal the IL-27in tuberculouspleurisy in the role of the pathogenesis and the diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy application value. Methods: We collected38tuberculosis pleurisy patients for the experimental group, and30cases ofmalignant pleural effusion patients as a control group in Shi he zi university of the first affiliated hospitalfrom December2011to September2012. After history taking, physical examination, and laboratoryexaminations necessary, we can eventually diagnosed. We collected the Pleural effusion specimens of twogroups of people. Application the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) determination of thecontent of IL-27in pleural effusion. In automatic biochemical analyzer ADA content, detected by theassistance of the clinical laboratory. The data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS software17.0. Theresults of the measurement data were presented as mean±standard deviation (±s). Homogeneity ofvariance for normal distribution variables take t-test was used for comparison between two groups, themeasureent data of Non-normally distributed variables Wilcoxon test was used after logarithmictransformation. IL-27and ADA correlation analysis using Spearman correlation analysis. To P <0.05wasconsidered statistically significant. Results: The level of IL-27detected in Tuberculous pleural effusion group higher than in malignant pleuraleffusion group (Z=-7.04, p <0.05, differences was considered statistically significant). Two groups ofsubjects ADA content, tuberculous pleural effusion group was significantly higher than the group ofmalignant pleural effusion(Z=-7.028,p<0.05, differences was considered statistically significant). Pleuraleffusion in IL-27content and ADA content is a significant positive correlation (r=0.0727p <0.01).Determine IL-27diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy best diagnostic critical value is167.02ng/l, sensitivityand specific degrees were94.7%and86.7%.Conclusion: IL-27may be involved in the inflammatory response of tuberculous pleurisy, there is a certainvalue in the differential diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy, the specific mechanism needs further research. And with ADA joint detection as effective inflammatory markers can be used clinical diagnosis oftuberculous pleural effusion.
