Studies On Chemical Constituents And Activities Of Fruit Of Ligustrum Quihoui Carr

Ligust rum quihoui Carr. is an very important ornamental horticulture shrubs,which widely spreaded in almost everywhere of China. In traditional Chinesemedicine, it is used as a useful medic ine. It has the effect of detoxification andcures scald and injury. Compared with the use of an important ornamental plant,there were very little studies on the chemical constituents and the bioactives ofLigust rum quihoui Carr. In thesis, we studied the chemical constituents ofLigustrum quihoui Carr. and their bioactives.We have isolated30pure compounds via many isolation methods. FromLigust rum quihoui Carr.22compounds were determined by HR-ESI-MS, GC-MSand NMR.16compounds were first isolated from this plant,3compouds were firstobtained from Ligustrum. Expanding Oleaceae Ligustrum genus chemicalcomposition.To futher study the chemical constituents provides some basis.The essential oil was obtained by the method of steam distillation, then westudied the composition of the essential oil by GC-MS.22compounds of whichwere illustrated. Bioactive assays of crude extracts from different parts ofLigust rum quihoui Carr. were evaluated by ABTS and DPPH assays, we measuredthe values of antioxidant activities through the test, and we got the trends of theantioxidant activity of different parts of crude extracts.While using the MTTassay,tasted part of the anti-cancer activity of the test substance,we found a betteranti-cancer drug which anti-cancer activity is better than cisplatin,enriching theanti-hepatoma drugs.
