Blood pressure is important physiological parameters of heart which canreflecting the physical condition of body. The conventional method of measuringblood pressure is measured by using mercury sphygmomanometer or electronicsphygmomanometer. These two measurement methods are a single measurement, bloodpressure values measured by these methods is susceptible by room temperature, patients’ emotion and other factors. Therefore the values are full of volatility whichcan not provide valid information for doctors or custodial workers. Continuous bloodpressure measurement means measure human blood pressure continuously in a certaintime, which will guarantee for clinical care and disease prevention. The method pulse wave measure blood is proposed based on the characteristicsthat the pulse wave velocity is associated with blood pressure, so it can convert bloodpressure measurement to pulse wave velocity measurement, then only need to developcontinuous measurement of pulse wave velocity. However, such blood pressuremeasurement is not enough mature and other continuous blood pressure measurementsexist technical flaws. Based the analysis above, according to pulse wave measuringblood pressure principle, the author has developed a set of non-invasive continuousblood pressure measurement device. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1According to the principle of pulse wave measuring blood pressure, selectingpulse wave and blood pressure for the study objects, collecting data from differentages of people and extracting pulse wave velocity and blood pressure values. TakingPulse wave velocity as the dependent variable and measured blood pressure value asthe independent variable, applying the least squares method to fit quasi-linear curve.Experimental study can further validate the theory, it provides a sufficient theoreticalbasis for non-invasive continuous blood pressure measurement device. 2Microcomputer as the core, designing hardware circuit. MicrocomputerMSP430F149series produced by TI company is selected, hardware circuit partsinclude: sensor module, AD converter module, display module and so on.3Programming, the completed programs are downloaded to the Microcomputerdisplay it, through this method we can assess continuous blood pressure measurementdevice.Experimental study found that linear fit parameter values varied from person toperson, that was to say the quasi-linear relationship between pulse wave velocity andblood pressure had individual differences. For each individual, during a certain periodof time, blood pressure and pulse wave velocity has a quasi-linear relationship withouttaking strenuous exercise, therefore taking advantage of the principle of quasi-linearcorrelation we can design continuous measurement of blood pressure device.
