Clinical Research Of Tanshinone Capsule Combined With Photodynamic Therapy In The Treatment Of Severe Acne

Objective：Clinical comparative observation of Tanshinone capsule and photodynamic therapy (PDT)combination phototherapy in the treatment of severe acne.Methods：The61cases patients diagnosed with sever acne were randomly divided into two groups,they are PDT group:30cases; Tanshinone capsule and PDT combination group:31cases. PDTgroup: single treatment with PDT，use a good stability of the gel matrix glue formulated into5%aminolevulinic acid(ALA),applied to patients with lesions, and Packet with plasticwrap, avoid light1.5h. With a red light meter irradiate full face, irradiation dose:40J/cm2~60J/cm2, dose adjustment according to the skin reaction, Irradiation distanceo:10cm, irradiationtime:20minutes,10-15days/times were treated with1-4times. Tanshinone and PDT combinati-on group: treated with oral Tanshinone capsules,3times/day,4tablets each time,6weeks to1course of treatment, and with the ALA-PDT method of treatment, the same methods to the PDTgroup. During the treatment, the two group were given topical the Metronidazole Gel (JiangsuSt. Paul),2times/day, and stop using others system drugs. Before and after the treatment inthe2,4,6,8weeks, the two groups of patients with lesions were judged and compared the effic-acy of therapeutic effect, at the same time, the adverse reactions were recorded in the processof treatment.Results：1. Tanshinone capsule combined with PDT and pure PDT in the process of the treatmentof severe acne, can effectively reduce the number of acne lesions and lesions comprehensiveintegration, so as to reduce the severity of acne,the two groups have obvious curative effect intreatment.2.Tanshinone joint PDT group in the treatment of severe acne in the2,4,6,8weeks afterthe skin effect of efficient respectively:22.58%,50.00%,78.57%,92.31%; Significant efficiencyrespectively:12.90%,23.33%,60.71%,76.92%;PDT group in the treatment of severe acne in the2,4,6,8weeks after the skin effect of efficient respectively:20.00%,34.48%,71.43%,92.00%；Significant efficiency respectively:10.00%,13.79%,35.71%,52.00%;The results show that the two group in the2,4,6,8weeks,Tanshinone joint PDT skin effect of efficient higher than PDTgroup,but there was no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05);In the2,4weeks after theskin effect significant efficiency efficiently,but there was no statistically significantdifference(P＞0.05); In the6,8weeks,Tanshinone joint PDT group the skin effect of significantefficiency higher than in PDT group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).3. Tanshinone capsule combined with PDT group of patients with erythema, desquamation(76times)(81times), searing(66times),(33times)swel1ing and pain, itching(10times),(44times)response of acne and other symptoms; photodynamic group of patients with erythema,desquamation (92times)(89times), searing(71times),(37times)swel1ing and pain,itching(11times),(51times)response of acne and other symptoms. The number of adverseevents were compared, there was a significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion：1.Tanshinone capsule combined with PDT,pure PDT in the two groups are curative effectin treatment of moderately severe acne.2.Tanshinone joint PDT group compare with the PDT group curative effect is moreobvious in the6,8weeks,in some ways:Tanshinone joint PDT group treat severe acne canshorten the treatment course and reduce the economic burden of patient.3.Tanshinone capsule combined with PDT group method is safe than pure PDT treatmentacne.
