Objective Monitoring the levels of NT-pro-BNP, myocardial enzymes (CK,CKMB), Troponin (CTnT)、lactic dehydrogenase (LDH1) before and after usinganthracycline in acute leukemia, both ECG and echocardiographic comparative toassess the sensitivity of NT-pro-BNP in anthracycline induced myocardial injury.Methods Between October2010and october2012,72AL patientsreceiving systemic Anthracyclins chemotherapy were enrolled in the Department ofHematology of The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science andTechnology. The traditional myocardial damage indicator, such as:the left ventriculardiameter and wall thickness, ejection fraction(LVEF)were performed. Serum levels oftroponin (C T n T)、 creatine kinase(CK)、creatine kinase myoglobin(CKMB)、lactic dehydrogenase (LDH1) and NT-pro-BNP were measured. The seventy-fourhealth people served as the control group.The cardiac function evaluations byechocardiography were done at beginning and at the end of the each cycle ofchemotherapy. They were divided into five groups according to cumulative doses:cumulative dose≤120mg/m~2(group A);cumulative dose120—240mg/m~2(groupB);cumulative dose240—360mg/m~2(group C);cumulative dose360—480mg/m~2(group D);cumulative dose>480ms/m~2(group E).Results1. There was statistical significance in NT-pro-BNP anthracyclinecumulative doses greater than120mg/m~2difference (P<O.05), LVEF anthracyclinecumulative doses greater than480mg/m~2had significant difference (P<O.05).2. The NT-pro-BNP and anthracycline cumulative dose of positivecorrelation (R2=0.750P<O.05), NT-pro-BNP was negatively correlated with LVEF(R2=-0.173P<O.05).Conclusions:1.The serum NT Pro BNP can predict early anthracycline-induced cardiac damage.2.The echocardiography without obvious changes in the early, It cannot be used as the early detection index of anthracyclines cause heart damage.
