Objective: To compared with3.0T MRI, accuracy assessment of320-CT the standard reconstruction window(SRW) and optimalreconstruction window (ORW) on the left ventricular function.To provide amore accurate, reliable and rapid imaging method in left ventricular functiontest.Methods: Sixty-four patients with clinically suspicion of left heartinsufficiency were underwent320-row Volume CT and3.0T MRIexamination within one week. Rebuild the left ventricular function scan of320-CT at intervals of5%, according to the time-volume curve obtainedend-diastolic (ED) and end-systolic (ES) location phase, phase ED and ESstatistics, and then rebuild the statistical value with ED and ES, namely theoptimal reconstruction window, and then according to the traditional inintervals of10%data reconstruction. Left ventricular function parametersobtained by the two methods were compared with3.0T MRI, andcomparison of two methods.The parameters of left ventricular functionincluding end-diastolic volume (EDV), end-systolic volume (ESV), ejectionfraction (EF)and stroke volume (SV) were analysed respectively. Results: For ORW measurement,0%of the R-R interval was as thephase of ED for all subjects, when heart rates (HR) were <65beat per min(bpm), from65to79bpm, and≥80bpm,30%,35%and40%of the R-Rinterval was as the phases of ES, respectively and obtain the left ventricularfunction parameters of EDV, ESV, EF, SV. The left ventricular functionparameters of320-CT SRW and3.0T MRI paired t test showed: there wereno statistically significant differences in EDV and ESV between bothmeasurements (t=0.257、3.628; P>0.05), except significant differencein EF and SV(t=-2.623,-2.093; P<0.05),The parameters of320-CT ORWand3.0T MRI paired t test showed: there were no statistically significantdifferences in EDV,ESV,EF and SV between both measurements(t=-1.783~0.194, P>0.05).Bland-Altman analysis showed the SRW of320-CT overestimate the EDV, ESV, SV and underestimate the EF,and theORWoverestimate the EDV、E F、 SVand underestimate the ESV.The totaltime of measuring LV function parameters was (11.68±1.74) min with ORWand (52.50±6.00) min with SRW, respectively.Coronary CTA images can beused for clinical diagnosis in all cases.Conclusion:320-row Volume CT ORW and SRW can accuratelyevaluate left ventricular function,and ORW can significantly reduce the totaltime, has higher clinical application value.
