| Objective: This paper had a clinical research on curing chronic osteomyelitis byapplying improved open bone grafting,to summarize the characteristics and advantages ofthe method. The ultimate goal of this paper is to explore an effective, excellent,reliable andsafe treatment on chronic osteomyelitis. Methods: From Jan2011to Mar2012,48available patients who were suffering chronic osteomyelitis were picked and divided intotwo groups according to the compliance of the patients. The24cases in curing group weretreated with improved open bone grafting, sensitive antibiotics and FuFangWuGonggranule, while other24patients in control group were only had traditional open bonegrafting, sensitive antibiotics and FuFangWuGong granule. Patients in two groups wereobserved healing effective rate, total score of symptoms and signs after6months. Allobserved indicators between the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results: Thecomparative differences between two groups on healing effective rate, total score ofsymptoms and signs after6months were statistically significant (p <0.05or p <0.01). Thecuring group was better than the control group on healing effective rate, total score ofsymptoms and signs. Conclusion: To apply improved open bone grafting to cure chronicosteomyelitis was an effective, excellent, reliable and safe treatment and method. it had abetter healing effective rate,and obviously improved the symptoms and signs. |
