Clinical Study On The Treatment Of BuQiHuoXue To Hypertension Caused By Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis In Young Elders

Objective: Through observing the clinical effect of the prescription of BuQiHuoXue,using in young elders with hypertension, to explore the mechanism for the action of thetreatment of BuQiHuoXue.Methods:72cases of elderly hypertension (level2) patients(age between60to74years) with Qi deficiency and blood stasis were randomly divided into2groups: thecontrol group of36cases, were treated with Amlodipine Besylate Tablets（Anneizhen）2.5-5mg p.o. qd, while patients with dyslipidemia were given conventional oral simvastatin,and those with glucose abnormalities, hypoglycemic drugs or insulin injection; as for the36cases in the treatment group, traditional Chinese medicine, which was BuQiHuoXueprescription were added. Both groups were given4weeks’ treatment. And the changes ofthe blood pressure, scores of symptoms, hemorheological changes, blood lipid and fastingblood glucose level before and after treatment were observed in each group.Results: the BuQiHuoXue Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptomsin young elders with hypertensive disease. The difference of the clinical symptoms score intotal after treated between the two groups is quite significant (P＜0.01). Treatments in bothtwo groups, can effectively lower blood pressure, while in the treatment group systolicblood pressure (P＜0.05) and pulse pressure lower significantly (P＜0.01). In both twogroups, the blood flow, blood lipid and fasting blood glucose are all improved, while thatof the treatment group are improved more obviously (P＜0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of BuQiHuoXue can significantly improve the clinicalsymptoms of young elders with Qi deficiency and blood stasis type of hypertension, and reduces blood pressure and pulse pressure. At the same time it can improve hemorheology,blood lipids, and fasting blood glucose level.
