Objective: To observe clinical effects of integrative medicine therapy by observingMAU(Mixed Aetiology Ulcer) patients and comparing with VU(Venous Ulcer) patients.Methodology:30cases of MAU patients that correspond with determined standardsare selected as observation group to compare with30cases of VU patients set ascomparison group(2010.10~2013.02). Change of the wound surface and ulcer healing rateof the two groups during medical treatment process are then observed and compared. Results: MAU cases showed complex pathogenesis comparing to VU. Some of thesecases don’t have significant differences with VU cases in clinical symptoms and signs.General rates of treatment effectiveness for observation group is93.33%while is100%forcontrol group, however, significant difference in statistical analysis (P<0.05) has beenrevealed since cure rate of control group(86.67%) is obviously higher than observationgroup (63.33%).Conclusion: The study discloses that MAU have unique characteristics in pathogenicfactors, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatments. Integrative medicine therapy haveeffects on MAU treatments, but curative effect is not significant comparing to VU cases.
