Objective: Observed the clinical efficacy evaluation of treating ulcerative colitis(remission) from the “virtual Ecchymosis”, evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety ofprevention of recurrence of maintaining UC remission in Yiyuanguchang oral and the jointretention enema with Qintengyuyang., and explored its mechanism of action. Methods: UC patients in remission70patients met the inclusion criteria, wererandomly divided into two groups: the control group of34patients, given mesalazine(etiasa) oral,1g/2times a day; Test group of36patients, on the treatment from “the VirtualEcchymosis”, given Yiyuanguchang oral, one day, and the joint retention enema withQintengyuyang every night. A course of four weeks, starting the next course of treatmentafter the interval of two days, patients were treated for six months, the comparison of thetwo groups of patients with clinical symptoms and the clinical efficacy after six months.and records relapse of the two groups of patients after Follow-up six months. Results: After the end of treatment, the test group TCM syndromes comprehensivetotal effective rate was94.44%while the control The group was64.71%, and thedifference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Clinical efficacy of the test group the totaleffective rate was91.67%, and76.47%in the control group, the difference was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05). About the symptom improvement of diarrhea, blood and pus, abdominal pain, less satisfied, the Shenpi fatigue and Yaoxisuanruan, the test group isbetter than the control group (P<0.05). After Follow-up six months, the number of relapsein the test group2, the recurrence rate of5.6%, the average relapse frequency was1.00±0.000, recurrence of the disease are mild; control group recurrence10people, therecurrence rate of29.41%, the average number of recurrences was2.00±0.471, therecurrence of the disease,1mild,7moderate,2severe, and two sets of results compared, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion: The “virtual Ecchymosis” is the important pathogenesis of UC relapse,Yiyuanguchang and Qintengyuyang are effective prescriptions in maintaining UCremission, improving the quality of mucosal healing, reducing relapse and improving thequality of life of patients. Its mechanism of action may be related to regulating the body’simmune improve intestinal microcirculation regulation hypercoagulable state, repair theintestinal mucosal barrier enhancement of mucosal barrier function and anti-inflammatoryantibacterial and so on.
