| [Objective] To invesigtate the current status of self-management in patients with gastric cancer surgery, and analyze its influential factors.and then, To observation and evaluation the effects of the standardized health education to the patients self-management behavior and postoperative pain control effect.[Methods] A total of102patients in Surgical department were recruited from a hospital in jiangsu and were investigated with the Summary of Postoperative pain Self-Care Activities and a series of influential factors questionnaires, then develop intervention programs.Using the Historical control study,2011.11-2012.06patients as the control group.2012.07-2012.12patients as the intervention group.selecting postoperative pain self-management behavior, pain severity score, the use of the PCA and patient satisfaction to evalution the effect of health education.[Results] The scores of postoperative pain Self-Care Activities were25.57±3.25, At a lower level.Multiple linear regression indicated that the beliefs of postoperative pain control, social support, Surgical history and Coping styles were the influential factors of the self-management of the patients with gastric cancer surgery and explained93.4%percent of the variance.A statistically significant difference was between the control group and the intervention group patients’postoperative analgesia behavior of self-management (P<0.05).the pain degree of the control group was significantly higher than the intervention group (P<0.05). At the aspect of the PCA consumption, the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). as to the satisfaction of the effect of postoperative pain control, the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group, which was a statistically significant difference.[Conclusions] The current status of self management in patients with gastric cancer surgery is not ideal, among which, the beliefs of postoperative pain control, social support, Surgical history and Coping styles are factors influencing self-management.The standardized pain health education can effectively improve the postoperative analgesia behavior of self-management,improve the effect of the pain control, and patient satisfaction. |
