Objective: To investigate the relevance between vWF and anoxia in COPD. Toanalyze the relationship between the severity of COPD and vWF.To analyze therelevance between vWF and the prethrombotic state of COPD. To decide whether thevWF can be the effective index to assess the severity of COPD and the risk ofcomplication. To provide some indication for clinical anticoagulant therapy.Methods: The serum levels of vWF were detected by the method of ELISA on30COPD patients and30healthy people. Also the data of D-Dimer,PLT,blood gas analysisand oxygen saturation were collected from the COPD patients. All the COPD patientswere estimated by the GOLD of2011(Combined assessment of COPD including theseverity of airflow limitation, the impact on the patients’ health status and the risk offuture events.) Patients were divided into four grades and were given the treatment ofanti-infections agent and bronchodilators. Peripheral blood sample were collected againon the first day,the fifth day and the tenth day to detect the vWF, D-Dimer and PLT onthe COPD patients, blood gas Analysis and oxygen saturation were assayed as well forthe analysis of their relevance.Results:1. The level of vWF was higher in AECOPD patients than that in SCOPDpatients,and both of them were higher than that in the control group.2. There was a positive correlation between wWF level and the severity ofCOPD.3. And there was a positive correlation between vWF level and D-Dimer,PLT in COPD patients.4.There was no correlation between vWF level and blood oxygensaturation、blood oxygen partial pressure in COPD patients.Conclusions: vWF was a useful data to evaluate the severity of COPD; it could reflectthe prethrombotic state of the COPD patients and have some correlation with thetraditional data of D-Dimer, PLT and could be used to judge the prethrombotic state on COPD patients with them together.
