Objective:Observe the Bi-Yuan (depression of gallbladder-heat type) patients’ symptoms and physical signs scores and topical nasal temperature, analyze the correlation between efficacy and temperature. Study Rhinology Wu-Du Differentiation of symptoms and signs law combined with rhinology Five-Du differentiation of symptoms and signs theory for further TCM’s theory developing. Methods:Treat out-Patients who accorded with the condition with Ji Lei Tong Qiao Decoction for2weeks. Observe and record temperature of nasal vestibule、little area、Inferior turbinate、Inferior meatus、Middle turbinate、Middle meatus、basis nasi by thermocouple at the beginning of the treatment,1week after treatment and2weeks after treatment, symptoms and physical signs scores. Analyze temperature change of29effective Bi-Yuan patients’ with statistics to discover the correlation between efficacy and temperature changes.Results:1.There’s no Statistically significant difference of nasal vestibule, little area,Inferior turbinate,Inferior meatus temperature change of Bi-Yuan patients (depression of gallbladder-heat type).2.There’s significant Statistical difference of Middle turbinate、Middle meatus and basis nasi nasal temperature change of Bi-Yuan patients (depression of gallbladder-heat type). Conclusion:The significant Statistical difference of Middle turbinate and Middle meatus nasal temperature change of Bi-Yuan patients (depression of gallbladder-heat type) proved that liver and gallbladder’s pathogenesis reflects obviously in Middle turbinate and Middle meatus. It is in accord with rhinology Five-Du differentiation of symptoms and signs theory. But basis nasi nasal temperature change of Bi-Yuan patients (depression of gallbladder-heat type) contradicted rhinology Five-Du differentiation of symptoms and signs theory.
