Clinical Observation Of Tong Qiao Sheng Fa-ling Unite Plum-bloss Needle For Treating Alopecia Areata

Objective:Observing the clinical efficacy of Tongqiaoshengfaling unite Plum-blossom needle in treating Alopecia Areata of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, to offer an effective method for Alopecia Areata.Methods:Using the method of randomized control, the108patients of Alopecia Areata of qi stagnation and blood stasis type that meet the standards are randomly divided into the Acupuncture and Drugs Group, the Chinese Medicine Group and the Chinese Patent Drug Group. The number of the actual completion patients in Acupuncture and Drugs Group, Chinese Medicine Group and Chinese Patent Drug Group is36,34and33, respectively. There are5cases in the process of research observation. Patients in Acupuncture and Drugs Group admit the traditional Chinese medicine named "Tongqiaoshengfaling" unite Plum-blossom needle, the Chinese Medicine Group takes decoction of "Tongqiaoshengfaling", and the Chinese Patent Drug Group takes "Xuefu zhuyu Pills". Recording the hair loss area, the gently pull hair experiment and the situation of the new hair regrowth of the patients in three groups before treatment or the4th,8th and12th weekends after treatment, At the same time, analyzing the correlation of the lesion and DLQI score of the patients in three groups before and after treatment, to observe the degree of association.Results:1. After the treatment, in Acupuncture and Drugs Group, the total effective rate is94.44%and the therapy index is78.00%; The total effective rate in Chinese Medicine Group is67.65%, the therapy index is60.51%; In the Chinese Patent Drug Group, the total effective rate and the therapy index are respectively57.58%and52.59%. There is a significant difference comparing the efficacy of the patients in three groups (P<0.05).2. After4weeks of treatment, there is no significant difference comparing the lesion score of the three groups of patients (P>0.05). But As the treatment progressed, in the8weekend and12weekend, the lesion score have significant difference among the three groups(P<0.05).3. Before the treatment,the DLQI score and lesion score of the three groups of patients are all positively correlated (r=0.872); in addition, the improved DLQI score and improved lesion score are also positively correlated (r=0.420)after the treatment. Conclusions:1. Comparison among the three groups, the Acupuncture and Drugs Group has the faster and better effect in the lesion score than the other two groups, with a notable curative effect.2. There is a positive correlation between DLQI score and lesion score of patients suffered from Alopecia Areata. Quality of life scores may reflect the severity of patients with alopecia areata. As the patients’conditions progressed, the Quality of life increased too.
