Clinical Observation Of Qi-stagnation Induced Blood-stasis Type Leucoderma In The Treatment Of Plum-blossom Needle Combined With Compound Buwu Syrup

1 Objective To observe the clinical curative effect and safety of Qi-stagnation Induced Blood-stasis Type leucoderma in the treatment of Plum-blossom Needle combined with Compound Buwu syrup. Analysing the feasibility and advantages of combined therapy in the treatment of Qi-stagnation Induced Blood-stasis Type leucoderma. To provide a safe and effective treatment for leucoderma.2 Methods55 patients with leucoderma were randomly divided into 2 groups with 27 cases in the treatment group and 28 cases in control. Treatment group was treated with Plum-blossom Needle combined with Compound Buwu syrup. Control group was treated by Compound Buwu syrup,both groups were coated with Compound Kaliziran tincture. The groups were treated for 3 months and referral once every month.Analyzing and comparing two groups’ total clinical curative effect and changes in skin lesion area and pigment score before and after treatment. To observe the adverse reactions of the patients in the treatment process. All data were analyzed with SPSS17.0software.3 Results(1)After 3 months of treatment, the treatment group, 3 cases were cured, 12 cases were effective, the efficiency is 55.56%; the control group, 1 case was cured, 7 cases were effective, efficiency was 28.57%, the curative effects of two groups were compared with statistical significance(p< 0.05), the effects were better in treatment group than in control group;(2)After 3 months of treatment, the average value in vitiligo area of the treatment group was 1.40 ± 1.18(cm~2) and the control group was 2.48 ± 1.87(cm~2), there was statistically significant between the two groups in vitiligo area(p < 0.05);(3)After 3 months of treatment, the average value in pigment score of the treatment group was 1.36±0.68 while the control group was 1.93 ± 0.94. There was statistically significant between the two groups in pigment score(p< 0.05);(4) In the course of treatment, the treatment group had 4 cases on adverse reactions,the control group had 3 cases, the adverse reactions was not statistically significant(p>0.05).4 Conclusion The clinical treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis type leucoderma is effective with Plum blossom needle thorn combined with Compound Buwu syrup. Treatment group was more effective than the control group in narrowing the vitiligo area and darken pigment without significant adverse reactions.So it is worth further clinical promotion.
