Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Types Of Chronic Primary Glomerulonephritis And Lupus Nephritis

Objective:With the TCM constitution types investigation of80patients having Chronic Primary Glomerulonephritis (CPGN) and62patients having Lupus Nephritis (LN), this paper tried to understand the distribution of the two groups of disease of TCM physique regularity and diversity.Methods:We use uniform questionnaire and physical evaluation form, collect the patient’s basic data and laboratory results. CPGN was divided into nephrotic syndrome group and Non-Nephropathy group as well as LN, and LN was be divided into active and inactive group.Making analysis of two groups of patients’ TCM constitution distribution as well as the different clinical TCM physical distribution differences.Results:From the survey of TCM constitution classification of CPGN and LN, We find that they have similarities and difference.Similarities:The main constitution of both groups is weak physique (Qi-deficiency, Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency)(>50%). The degree of TCM constitution classification of two groups is similar(P>0.05).In the two groups were mainly Composite Constitution(>60%). The constitution type of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group and LN nephrotic syndrome group were mainly Yang-deficiency (>30%).Differences:1. The distribution of TCM constitution classification of LN and CPGN exist significant differences (P<0.01);The main type of CPGN is Qi-deficiency, Yang-deficiency (>20%);LN with Yin-deficiency(>20%).2.Look from the clinical classification, the distribution of TCM constitution of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group and the LN nephrotic syndrome group was significant difference (P<0.05), The proportion of Phlegm-da mpness of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group is more than LN nephrotic syndrome group. The proportion of Damp-heat of LN nephrotic syndrome group is far more than CPGN nephrotic syndrome group.And the distribution of TCM constitution classification of CPGN Non-Nephropathy group and the LN Non-Nephropathy syndrome group was significant difference (P<0.05), CPGN of qi-deficiency is the most important types of Non-Nephropathy syndrome group (17.07%), LN Non-Nephropathy syndrome group is mainly Yin-deficiency (26.82%).3. The constitution of CPGN that was compared with the group of LN activity was no significant difference (P>0.05), two groups are mainly Yang-deficiency (>20%). The constitution of CPGN and LN without activity group were significant difference (P<0.05), LN physical without activity is Yin-deficiency, Damp-heat(>20%).Conclusion:The distribution of TCM constitution classification of Chronic Primary Glomerulonephritis or Lupus Nephritis had laws and difference.1.Similarities:The TCM constitution of the two groups is given priority to weak physique.In the two groups,there were mainly Composite Constitution. The TCM constitution type of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group and LN nephrotic syndrome group were mainly Yang-deficiency.2.Differences:(1)The TCM constitution distribution of CPGN is different from LN’s: Qi-deficiency, Yang-deficiency were the main constitution type of CPGN,with LN the main constitution of TCM of Yin-deficiency.(2) The TCM constitution distribution of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group is different from LN’s:The proportion of Phlegm-da mpness of CPGN nephrotic syndrome group is more than LN’s. The proportion of Damp-heat of LN nephrotic syndrome group is far more than CPGN’s. The TCM constitution distribution of CPGN Non-Nephropathy group is different from LN’s:Qi-deficiency is the most important types of CPGN Non-Nephropathy group, LN Non-Nephropathy group is mainly Yin-deficiency.(3) The constitution of CPGN and LN without activity group were significant difference:LN physical without activity is Yin-deficiency,Damp-heat.
