| Objective:To study the clinical pathological characteristics and prognosisof colorectal cancer patients.Method:Investigating the pathological diagnosised390cases ofcolorectal cancer patients with complete pathological data who were treatedby operation treatment in the fourth hospital of Hebei Medical University from2006May to2009February.Using SPSS13.0software for statistical analysisof Cox regression model, finally obtains the independent prognostic factors incolorectal cancer patients.Results:1The mean survival period of390cases in this group of patients withcolorectal cancer was46.79months,5years survival rate was56.89%; themean survival period of167cases of colon cancer patients was48.78months,5years survival rate was59.70%;the average survival period of223cases ofrectal cancer patients was45.14months,5years survival rate was59.70%.2Single factor analysis of the factors affecting the prognosis of colorectalcancer include: gender, age at diagnosis and operation, tumor location, operation characteristics, pathological type, pathological stage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis;multivariate analysis concluded:thelocation of the tumor, operation, pathological type, histological propertiesstage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and the transfer of organs areindependent prognostic factors for survival of patients with colorectal cancerafter surgery.3The single factor analysis of patients with colon cancer prognosticfactors include: the location of the tumor, operation characteristics, pathological type, pathological stage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis anddistant metastasis; multivariate analysis concluded:property of operation, pathological type, pathological stage and lymph node metastasis areindependent factors of prognosis In patients with colorectal cancer.4The single factor analysis of patients with rectal cancer prognosticfactors include:The single factor analysis, including the influence on theprognosis of patients with rectal cancer: gender, age, diagnosis and operationtime of symptoms, operation characteristics, pathological type, pathologicalstage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis. Multivariateanalysis showed that: gender, operation characteristics, pathological type, tumor diameter, pathological staging, lymph node metastasis are independentfactors of prognosis after operation in patients with colorectal cancer.5There are differences between the right colon cancer and carcinoma ofthe left colon in pathological types in pathological stage, tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, the right half colon cancer patients than in the left halfcolon cancer patients with poor prognosis.6There are differences in the patients with colorectal cancer in age, diagnosis and operation time, operation characteristics, pathological type, pathological stage, tumor diameter, distant metastasis and prognosis ofcolorectal cancer, but no significant difference between.7The young group and the old group of colorectal cancer patients in thediagnosis and operation time, tumor location, histological type, pathologicalstage and lymph node metastasis have differences, but between the younggroup and the old group, no significant difference in overall survival period.Conclusion:1Conclusion colorectal cancer survival factor for tumor location, natureof the operation, pathological type, pathological staging and tumor diameter.2Factors to influence the prognosis of colon cancer patients is theoperation characteristics and pathologic staging.3The effect of rectal cancer prognostic parameters are gender, pathological type, the nature of the operation, the pathological staging andtumor diameter.4The clinical and pathological characteristics are different between colon cancer and rectal cancer.5The clinical and pathological characteristics of colorectal patientsbetween young group and old group had significant difference. |
