Objective To study the changes of inflammatory factors Interleukin-18(IL-18), Intercellular adhesion molecule-1(IC AM-1) and anti-inflammatory factors Interleukin-10(IL-10), Adiponectin(APN) of healthy offspring with a heredity of early-onset coronary heart disease, and their effects in the happening and progression of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods50healthy offspring with a family history of CHD were randomly recruited into observation group:25offspring with one of the parents suffering from CHD,as single group;25with both parents suffering from CHD,as parents group. Another25healthy offspring whose parents neither suffer from CHD were assigned as control group. The plasma concentration of IL-18,ICAM-1,IL-10and APN were all determined by enzyme linked immunoasorbent assay (ELISA).Results In single group and parents group, the plasma level of IL-18and ICAM-1were higher than that in the matched group; the plasma concentration of IL-10and APN were lower than that in the control group, the differences were significant(F=6.37-12.74,q=2.29-7.46,P<0.05). Plasma concentration of IL-18and ICAM-1were higher in parents group and the levels of IL-10and APN were lower in parents group, the differences were significant(q=2.41-4.24,P<0.05).Conclusion Due to heredity of CHD, the plasma levels of IL-18, ICAM-1h increase and the plasma concentration of IL-10,APN decrease in the healthy offspring with a family history of early-onset CHD. The detection of serum inflammatory factors and Anti-inflammatory factors in healthy offspring with a family history of CHD may lead to the early discovery of people at high risk for CHD,and provide a more reliable basis for the first-level prevention of CHD.
