The Effect On Immunity And Quality Of Life Of Treating Stable Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With Long Snake Moxibustion

Objective:This study observe the indexes of cellular immune function (immunoglobulin IgA,IgG, IgM)，T cell subsets in the peripheral blood(CD3+T cell, CD4+T cell, CD8+Tcell,CD4+T cell/CD8+T cell) and the change of patients’ life quality in Stable period ofChronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Treated with long snake moxibustion,We foundthat it had an effect of improving the immune function and life quality. To explore itsmechanism and the reliability of using this method.Methods:60patients with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of stable period are allcome from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui university of traditional ChineseMedicine.Sixty patients were randomized into treatment group and control group. Everygroup have30people.For the control group, Drug treatment Based on the guidelinesof“Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosis and treatment”.using theophylline(Theophylline Sustained-release Tablets)combined with Jinshuibao capsules. Thetreatment group was intervened with western medicine plus snake moxibustion once aweek,one month per treatment course,For consecutive two months,then compared thechange of the cellular immune function and the quality of life between two groups.Results:(1) After treatment compared in intra-group,there are varying degree improved inall immune function indexes（P<0.05).(2) Before treatment there is no difference in intergroup compare,which havestatistical significance.After treatment the treatment group has a better improve inimmune function indexes compared with control group（P<0.05).(3)Compare in intra-group,the quality of life in treatment group has a verysignificant difference(P<0.01);The control group has difference too(P<0.05).(4)Before treatment there are no differences of life quality in intergroupcompare,which have statistical significance.After treatment the treatment group has a clear elevate in quality of life compared with control group（P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable period in the two groups haddifferent degrees of change in indexes of cellular immune function (immunoglobulinIgA, IgG, IgM）and T cell subsets in the peripheral blood（CD3+T cell, CD4+T cell,CD8+T cell,CD4+T cell/CD8+T cell,)after the treatment.(2)Long sank moxibustion combine with drug can improve the patient’s immunefunction better than only take drugs.This may showed that Long sank moxibustioncould elevate the immune function of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease.(3)Long sank moxibustion therapy can improve the patient’s quality of life,hasmore advantage to coughs,the phlegm,relief breathe heavily and so on.(4)It is simple to operate Long sank moxibustion,which had a clear effect,safe andcheap to patient,have a good prospects to the people with chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease in stable stage.
