The database was established by Epidata3.0software and SPSS13.0software was used for statistical analysis. The main data analysis methods are:(1) Mean and standard deviation were used if the numeric data complies with the normal or nearly normal distribution, otherwise, rate and constituent ratio were used if the disaggregated data complies with the normal or nearly normal distribution to do general description of the situation;(2) Chi square test and binary logistic regression were used to do single factor analysis on students’ sleep quality;(3) Correlation analysis was done by using Pearson correlation coefficient among students’ PSQI scale, Internet addiction diagnostic scale and Security self-assessment scale;(4) Binary logistic regression was used on multivariate analysis of the factors influencing the junior and senior high school graduates’ sleep quality. Main Results:(1)6.0%of the junior high school graduates and18.2%of the senior high school graduates experienced poor sleep quality.(2) Junior and senior high school graduates’ PSQI scale are with three factors’ obstacle detection rate higher, which are day-time dysfunction, sleep latency and subjective sleep quality.(3)23.0%of the junior high school graduates’ and84.7%of the senior high school graduates’ sleep time were less than seven hours respectively, especially badly insufficient for senior students’sleep time.(4) High school graduates’ sleep quality had statistically significant impact on their mental state during the day and late for school frequency.(5) Multiple factor analysis results showed that being not happy in school, having the status of internet addiction and never chatting with families were risk factors for junior high school graduates’ sleep quality, with the odds ratio (OR) of12.048(95%confidence interval:2.459~59.027), OR of3.830(95%CI:1.527~9.607) and OR of1.527(95%CI:1.029~77.848) respectively.(6) Multiple factor analysis results showed that poor family economic conditions, being not happy in school and attending cram school were risk factors for senior high school graduates’sleep quality, with the odds ratio (OR) of2.037(95%confidence interval:1.134~3.659), OR of3.443(95%CI:1.442~8.219) and OR of1.442(95%CI:2.475~5.536) respectively; higher security self-assessment score was protective factor for senior high school graduates’sleep quality, with the odds ratio (OR) of0.982(95%confidence interval:0.973~0.973).Conclusions and suggestions:Conclusions:(1) It is high time to pay enough attention to junior and senior high school graduates who are suffering from sleep disorders.(2)Three PSQI scale factors, which are day-time dysfunction, sleep latency and subjective sleep quality, are with higher obstacle detection rate for both junior and senior high school graduates; the phenomenon of insufficient sleep is serious for both junior and senior high school graduates as well.(3) The joyful mood is helpful to good sleep quality for both junior and senior high school graduates.(4) Chatting with families positively plays an important role for junior high school graduates’ good sleep quality.(5) Junior high school graduates who are in internet addiction status have poorer sleep quality.(6) Senior high school graduates, who are in underprivileged families, have relatively poorer quality of sleep.(7) Extracurricular cram school attending makes a difference to senior high school graduates’ sleep quality.(8) The higher psychological sense of security score, the better senior high school graduates’ sleep quality.Suggestions:(1) There is need for schools, families and students themselves raising awareness of the importance that teenager students should have good sleep quality.(2) Pay attention to high school graduates’ campus and oudside school life and make efforts to build good atmosphere for them as well.(3) It is necessary to strengthen related education and guidance to junior high school graduates so as to guide them to use network rationally.(4) For junior high school graduates, benign interaction with their families helps to improve their quality of sleep.(5) Pay close attention to the sleep quality of senior high school graduates who are in needy families.(6) Arrange extracurricular cram school scientifically according to the characteristics of senior high school graduates.(7) Attach great importance to senior high school graduates’ mental health development and promote them to have full sense of security. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | High school graduates, Pittsburgh sleep quality index, Sleep quality, Prevalence survey, Gaomi City | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
