Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Kidney And Blood Stasis Period After A Few Months Of Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe clinical efficacy of TCM treatment^Bushen Huoxue decoction/Huoxue Tiaojing decoction) by stages to treat AoAb positive kidney asthenia blood stasis type hypomenorrhea, and observe its influence on the progesterone levels, resistance index of uterine artery and AoAb turning negative, and further explore its possible mechanism of action.Methods:70oligomenorrheic patients ranging in age from20to40with AoAb positive kidney asthenia blood stasis type hypomenorrhea were randomly divided into two groups equally. In the study group, during menstrual period, patients received the treatment of Huoxue Tiaojing decoction, during nonmenstrual period, patients received the treatment of Bushen Huoxue decoction; in control group, only in nonmenstrual period, patients received the treatment of Bushen Huoxue decoction. The two groups received treatment in three menstrual cycles. We observed and recorded that the changes of menstrual blood volume, TCM syndrome characteristics, hormone E,P levels, AoAb turning negative and resistance index of uterine artery in menstrual period, and made further comparison.Results:1. Comprehensive therapeutic effect:in study group(33cases),12clinical cure,18effective,3non-effective, the total effective rate was90.9%; in control group(34cases),6clinical cure,18effective,10non-effective, the total effective rate was70,6%. There was significant difference in the comparison between the two groups (p<0.05), the Comprehensive therapeutic effect in study group was superior to in control group.2. TCM scores and clinical efficacy of TCM symptoms:TCM scores in the two groups declined significantly after therapy, comparing with that before therapy. The comparison had significant difference(p<0.05), meanwhile, the comparison between the two groups also had significant difference (p<0.05). curative effect rate of symptom was90.9%in study group,70.6%in control group, there was significant difference (p<0.05)3. Menstrual volume score:after therapy, Menstrual blood loss in the two groups increased, comparing with that before therapy; the comparison in group had significant difference(p<0.05); the comparison between the groups had significant difference(p<0.05). it demonstrated that it could better improve the symptom of oligohypomenorrhea in study group.4. Hormone E2、P:after therapy, the levels of hormone E2、P in the two groups increased, comparing with that before therapy, the comparison in group had significant difference (p<0.05), but the comparison between the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).5. Negative conversion rate of AoAB:after therapy, AoAB in the two groups turned negative to some extent. the negative conversion rate was54.44%in study group,50.00%in control, but the comparison in group had no significant difference (P>0.05). however, the total negative conversion rate in the two groups was91.43%, there was significant difference comparing with the total rate of negative ones. AoAb turning negative was correlated positively with comprehensive therapeutic effect.6. Mean resistance index(RI) of uterine artery flow:after therapy, the RI in the two groups decreased, there was significant difference both in group and between the two groups(p<0.05)Conclusion:For patients with AoAb positive kidney asthenia blood stasis type hypomenorrhea, TCM treatment by stages had better therapeutic effect, which could increase menstrual quantity, improve Kidney deficiency and blood stasis symptom effectively, and improve Serum levels of estrogen and progestogen in luteal phase, prompt AoAB to turn negative, reduce the blood resistance of uterine artery in menstrual period. We presumed that the method may work by adjusting immune function, and reduce AoAB, improve ovarian function, prompt the secretion of estrogen and progestogen in luteal phase, promote the growth of endometrium, ameliorate blood circulation, increase blood supply in uterine artery. These results suggest that TCM treatment by stages is an effective method to cure AoAb positive kidney asthenia blood stasis type hypomenorrhea.
